STUDY TRIP BY ATTENDANTS OF WAR SCHOOL „BAN KRSTO FRANKOPAN“
16.03.2010.In line with the Annual curriculum of the War school „Ban Krsto Frankopan“, its attendants and several members of staff have visited the City of Koprivnica. This is the school's XII generation of the school, currently attended by military officers of Croatian Armed forces, an officer from bosnia and Herzegovina and an officer of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The War school attendants were recieved by Zvonimir Mrsic, mayor of Koprivnica who presented them with an overview of the town's current development results and challenges.The mayor stated the absence of sur-tax and the lowest price for drinking water as city's advantages, while the challenges are perceived in the predominant centralization of government, poor regional transport infrastructure and the lack of regional developemnt strategy. The mayor presented the city's experience with the first example of Public Private Partnership in Croatia and recommended this model for the construction of military facilities.
The War school „Ban Krsto Frnakopan“ is the highest school of military education in Croatia, attedned by Croatian and foreign military officers. Its aim is to qualify its attendants for highest offices in the national Armed forces.
