Mayor

Mr Zvonimir Mrsic, Mayor of the City of Koprivnica was appointed President of the Board of Podravka Inc.  on 24 February 2012. Consequently his term of office as the Mayor was terminated.

Based on this appointment, in accordance with his authority prescribed in Article 40a, paragraph 3 of the Law on Local and Regional government, the Mayor of Koprivnica appointed Deputy Mayor Ms Vesna Zeljeznjak, BSc., to serve the function of the Mayor of the City of Koprivnica.

Ms Zeljeznjak has the authority granted by the Law on Local and Regional government, all special laws and the Statute of the City of Koprivnica and other official documents  referring to the responsibilities of the Mayor of the City of Koprivnica and will serve the term of the office until the following local elections. Her official title is Holder of the office of the Mayor of the City of Koprivnica, Deputy Mayor.
